It's your birthday & we just wanted to let you know how much we all love you. I can't believe David is five years old. We are so happy for him.
We had a small family birthday party for him last night. Naomi played "Happy Birthday To You" on her little cello, McKaylee made you a string chain, Mom & Dad gave you an unlikly gift from the Disney store. It's a pirate package with handcuffs & everything.Grandma & Grandpa got you a movie & some cute clothes.
We made a cake that looked like the batman sign, & had your favorite, rootbeer floats.
James David Campbell, and William Richard Wood are the two wonderful men we named you after. We named you and all of our children after people we felt they could look to as examples to follow. So that when they remember their names they will remember the people they were named after & know that they where good people. That your works will be good like theirs.
David always remember Heavenly Father, the Savior who is Jesus Christ. They are the only perfect examples & will never lead you wrong.

What a fun birthday David! You are a nice, handsome five year old and we love you. It sounds like January, starting with the New Year was a great month. Fun to read your blog. This blogging stuff is awesome, a great way to see pictures and hear what is going on. Mom and Dad, Grampa and Gramma C.
